Sun Choir is a full-length album written for and featuring the children of the Light of Love Children’s Home by the Edinburgh based art-pop collective, Marram.
Marram are Transgressive North's in-house band. Their acclaimed debut album includes collaborations with the, Jarvis Cocker, doseone (Anticon), Owen Pallett (Arcade Fire), White Hinterland, and Scottish folk singer Margaret Bennett, alongside specially composed lyrics by Scottish writers and poets, including Irvine Welsh, Alexander McCall Smith, Valerie Gillies, and Tom Leonard.

BOATS is a 29-track double album produced by Transgressive North, featuring exclusive tracks from Four Tet, Dan Deacon, Bear in Heaven, Califone, Deerhoof, Gang Gang Dance, Lucky Dragons, Julian Lynch, Max Tundra, No Age, The Ruby Suns, Rustie, Son Lux, and many, many more.
Each artist created their songs using samples of the Light Of Love Children's Choir, originally recorded for Marram's Sun Choir. As a result, BOATS is a diverse and kaleidoscopic concept-album with the children's voices at its core.
