• This song takes its title from the line from Owen PaIlett's song 'Your Light Is Spent' : "Scan the skies for signs of heaven, Heaven, what use is heaven for you? Spend your time with us instead."
• We organised the recording of Owen's vocals by email. The only time we ever met Owen in person was long after he had recorded the song, at The National curated ATP in 2012.
• The Dark Zone at 2.06 had to be re-recorded about 7 different times.
